so this is conceptual.. i dont know if i need to explain it or not. it seems pretty self explanitory, but if it isnt: the light/dark contrast plays into it, the two extremes, one or the other, in or out, living the inbetween. the fact that it is a doorway also plays into the concept i dont know whether this is the worst image i have ever posted, or whether its higher up in the ranks. im horrible at analyzing my own, so please comment! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. The contrast in light is so cool, and you have so much talent with catching the light. It is seriously insane. I also love how you can see the random reflection of you kneeling to get the photo is in there... either that or crouching... your sort of a blob really.

ps- i really like this concept- strangely it almost gives my eyes this ...optical illusion- on the light side, it looks like the curve of the door handle ripples through the air- and i like the smooth gradations into shadow into the corners.

If you get the light again, maybe re-take it portrait with the handles 1/3 from the top - to include the symbolism of the cross?
